Dance in Year 4

Year 4 have been busy preparing a routine for the Gateshead Dance Festival.The children have enjoyed working with from the Dance company, 'Happy Feet.' Good luck for the festival next Tuesday.

Hatton Art Gallery

Year 5 and 6 visited The Hatton Gallery this week as part of the Audio- Visual Festival.
The exhibition presented six contemporary artist's rooms, on the theme of energy and sound.

Winners revealed for Fairtrade Fortnight Competition

We had great fun guessing which mug belonged to each member of staff. Finally the results are out.....
We had three winners who matched the most mugs to staff- well done! These children, above, received a Fairtrade goodie bag.
We have made a great effort to support fairtrade this fortnight, let's continue to 'swap' more produce for Fairtrade produce.

'Hoops 4 Health!'

Achievements in Merit Assembly

Well done to the following children who received awards today.
Year R: John Stewart for coming to school with a smile.
Year 1: Lily Bell for being polite.
Year 2: Ben Winship for writing excellent instructions.
Year 3: Emma Jarvis for her enthusiasm and attention to detail with her flower painting.
Year 4: Logan Gibson for improvement in effort towards his work.
Year 5: Alex Harris for producing an excellent flower painting.
Year 6: Callum Elliot for a beautiful flower painting.
