I think Merit Assembly is a great idea. If sombody gets an award, they know they have to keep their good work up. For those who don't win, they try harder so that they can get an award next time.

I think Merit assembly is great, getting certificates makes you really proud of yourself and when your class wins the attendance that is good too. I also like it when we find out which house got the most merits.

I think Merit Assembly is a great idea because it feels great if you win anything, even though my class, year 5, haven't won the attendance once this year!!
