This half term our Design & Technology topic, "Take a seat" has proved popular with our Y4 class. We looked at a range of chair designs and then embarked upon designing our own chairs for a fantasy character.
Additionally, the class were set the challenge to transform a regular classroom chair. Working in small groups they had to retain the function of a school chair, whilst creating a more interesting design.
It was vey difficult for me to choose 3 winners who would then set about actually putting their designs in place. Each group made a short presentation and the winners were-

I LOVED Bede's World. It was amazing. I liked the park and dressing up as monks best!!

I loved making the chairs it was mint I was working with elli and chloe I really enjoyed it and I loved all the materials especially the feather bower that I brought in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
