Meeting George Alagiah

Meeting George Alagiah
On Friday 9th May we were invited to Cardinal Hume School to give a presentation on Fairtrade in St Alban's School. The guest speaker was the BBC News Reader, George Alagiah.

Mrs Hetherington and Abbie, our Head Girl, talked to pupils and staff of Cardinal Hume School and the assembled guests about the work we do in Citizenship and how we are a Fairtrade School. Thomas, our Head Boy, operated the laptop. George Alagiah, the patron of the Fairtrade Foundation, was most impressed with the work we are doing.
