Our MP visits St Alban's

IMG_2774.JPG
Our Member of Parliament, Sharon Hodgson, visited school today. The Head Boy and Head Girl took her on a tour of the school. Year 6 had prepared questions to ask her about her work as an MP. The school council gave a presentation on the Send My Friend To School campaign and we gave her messages to forward to Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister.

I had lovely visit to your school once again. The children as ever were impeccably behaved and year 6 gave me a tough Q & A with some very thoughtful questions. The quality of the cards was very impressive and when I presented them to the Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Wednesday this week just after Prime Ministers questions, I know he thought so too! I have emailed the photo of the presentation to the school today. I look forward to seeing you all agin soon. Very best wishes.
Sharon
