This Harvest Fast Day we are supporting CAFOD's work in Brazil. Children are asked to give up a favourite sweet and to donate the money to support CAFOD. The donations will be offered in our liturgy on Friday 2nd October at 2.40 pm. Children have been learning about the work of CAFOD in Citizenship lessons.

Primary Chaplains from around the diocese visited St Alban's school today. Mrs Hetherington led a reflection in St Alban's room.The Chaplains shared resources and discussed the importance of chaplaincy in primary schools.

Today we are celebrating the Feast of the Epiphany when the Three Kings visited Baby Jesus.

We have started out Lenten journey today. In our liturgy this afternoon we looked again at our 'Livesimply' promises and we made a commitment to continue to keep these promises during Lent. Our purple lapel ribbons will help us to remember. The children have taken home a CAFOD Livesimply Lenten calendar to help them to prepare for Easter.
